From Despair To Where? Baldock can still go a job for us and I'd be more than happy with him if only he was on half the wage.

Hypothetical question. Who would be happy to see Moore go if it meant Blackett signed a new contract?

I'd love to see Blackett stay. Cover at both CB and LB and a more than decent cross on him. Not sure he wants to stick around though, although Covid may have limited his options.

I like Blackett but I would prefer Moore to stay. He's a rock and a leader.

If by rock you mean largely immobile and easily bypassed with a little bit of movement then I wholeheartedly agree.

Just ignore him, he wants attention today. Been at it all day long.

Grow up . It's called having a discussion on a discussion forum. Maybe you should try it, seeing as you think you're such a football expert....

He's a decent player and does a good job at what he does, and is more importantly a leader. And by gosh we do need them. But if we were to get an offer of let's say £8mill i would be happy to accept that. I suppose that we have got Mcintyre who can do a good job as a backup aswell and has proven himself.

We also need a striker who can score 15-20 goals a season, a creative and tricky playmaker and maybe a few young loan players.

was thinking that watching him on the weekend. I think he's put on too much bulk. Not fat because he clearly isnt. But he looks too big and its affecting his speed and agility

But his sex appeal has rocketed so there’s that.

Yes I want moore of him

He's wedge. That's his problem. Like Ade Akinbiyi. Too much muscle it limits his mobility and ability.

How about a deal. I'll ignore him when you stop telling everyone who replies to him to ignore him because by doing that, you're effectively ignoring your own advice to ignore him and carrying on your own little spat with him.

I have no spat with him, he is on ignore. You're right though, we should all just not mention him or refer to him at any point.

If I'm on ignore then how do you keep quoting me and going  after I post literally anything. It's very boring and you are following me about.

I'm happy to have a discussion with anybody about our squad for next season with anybody who wants one. I'm not really sure why saying our captain is a good player, or we need a striker who can score 20 goal is such a bad thing and me being an attention seeker? Odd.

Anyone up to speed on League 2? Any standout players in it for the season just gone? Might be worth taking a couple of affordable punts if the right player is out there at that level.

Not heard of any really. Though after the success of McNulty I’m sure we’re all over it

Now i know I said Swift leaving wouldn't be the biggest problem considering both Ejaria and Olise should be able to fill his boots as ready made, like for like replacements but anyone else up for having Baker back? On loan obviously but I really thought he looked quality with us.

of course. But the reason we couldn't pursue it before was huge wage demands so that'd obvs have to change

WestYorksRoyal
andrew1957 According to the list that was published a couple of weeks back Meite is on 15K a week and Baldock 21.5K. Sounds about right bearing in mind Baldock was signed when the club were on a mad spending splurge.

The other players on that list over 20K a week were:

Moore 35K
Swift 25K
McCleary 20K
Gunter 21.5K
Mannone 20K
Cabral 20K

Which would explain why the club were so keen to offload McCleary and Gunter last summer and why most likely Swift and Moore will be off this one.

I'd say fair for Rafael and Meite given their importance to us; both free transfers too. But plenty in that list on way too much. I'd happily take £2m - £3m for Moore

Find it VERY hard to believe Loader is on significantly less than £1000 whilst Olise is on £2000.

Also doubt Blackett is as low as suggested. Rino seems offensively low compared to Swift. Etc etc.

Loader is now on £0 per week. He has left the building.

Glen Murray. I would love to have him back. Or get in Jordan Rhodes on a free. Few goals there surely.

Maybe a younger starlet from the PL like longstaff, chong, Willcock or a Liverpool player aswell?
