Old Man Andrews The one thing we don't need as it stands are more strikers.

We need 3 wingers
2 CDM's
2 attacking midfielders
Left back
2 central defenders

Why do we need attacking midfielders when we have Ejaria, Olise and Holsgrove assuming Swift does go?

Ejaria isn't reliable enough, goes missing. Needs competition in order to stay sharp.

Olise is a kid, not fair to rely on him.

Holsgrove is an unproven kid, nowhere near ready for the first team. Could do with a League 1/2 loan move.

I can see Olise stepping up next season and playing a big role, like Obita or Hector or Rinho did when they first came on the scene. They all got to start somewhere and it would be perfect for him. I believe Bowen has good faith in him.

If nobody wants him, I'm sure he will drop his price. He used to be shit hot, what happened to him?

Other players that are ooc this summer.

Chris Martin
Danny Graham
Dom Samuel
JD Bod
Nugent
Van La Parra
Colin quanier (got to be the worst forward I've ever seen in the prem)

Hmmmmm stay well clear.....

Good list. It they’re all has beens

I’d prefer to dip into the lower leagues to get a young hungry rough diamond.

Or can’t we raid the Irish league again?

Yep they're all past it and on a free, that's why I said we need to stay away. Don't want to get in the trap of getting one of those players do we.

I know a lot about lower league football and deffo league 2 as my family are actively involved in it, please don't listen to that berk who replied to you. He's following me around for some reason and going  and being a general dick like usual.

There are a lot of good players that we can get from L1 and 2.

We could gain some good players who can do a job such as Marcus Maddison who has a deadly left foot but didn't do it at QPR, but I believe they have a terrible system and a bad boss.

Ivan toney will get goals for sure as will Ipswich star man upfront I forgot his name.... Drat!

Paddy madden and Gnailliot from a Blackpool always has goals in so does Mo eisa.

Will Grigg from a few years ago and I think Bowen will get the best out of him.

Matty Taylor from Oxford is good

John Marquis is deadly.

Like I said earlier, Elliot Lee is good from a Luton side who might go down, as is James Collins.

League 2 is harder. Eoin Doyle and nicky Maynard are the top scorers but are about 87 years old each. STEER CLEAR!

Out of all that list Gnanduillet definitely on a free another option to Meite really exciting player.

Maddison was at Hull not QPR but yes definitely the type of player we should be looking at.

I would look at Chey Dunkley or Grant Hall aswell both On a free for cb.

The wingers are the hardest to find they are slim pickings these days

Bowler looked good at Hull on loan from Everton. I believe his contract runs out this summer aswell he seems like a proper winger bit of a rough diamond but only 21 and I assume low wages.

James Norwood was who I was thinking of earlier. Shit hot goalscorer and would not say no to bringing him in and oxf*rd Baldock off out the club. Or Onyedimnya from Wycombe.

Raid Charlton and Luton for a few players, bring in McGeady I think as a tricky winger and we've got a decent team then. Also think somebody like Joe Jacobson would be a good and reliable player to have if Moore goes and Blackett goes into CB.

From Despair To Where? I think Gnanduillet would be a good shout, but realistically, any forward we may sign would be competing with Joao, Meite and Puscas so it's not exactly a position of high need without shipping someone out first.

Plus he is the same type of player as Joao. He's a big target man type player.

I think somebody nippy and mobile would be good and for some reason I can only think if Jaydon Stockly but we've missed that boat unfortunately, or matty Taylor.

Is it bad to suggest James Henry? He's been amazing this season. Sammy Ameobi is OOC aswell this summer and he's quite good

Gnanduillet would be quite cheap on wages too. Solid back up signing for me!

Yep I know what I'm talking about when it comes to football and league 1 and 2 players. He would be a good striker who can score goals at a decent rate and is a workhorse type player.

He isn't a pure quality striker based on what I saw in the Blackpool cup games but he works hard and brings others into play. Scoring record isn't bad either and a solid back up to Joao. On a free we should take a punt, offer him a 2 year deal.

I imagine the striking department will depend largely on what happens with Puscas - I fully expect we’ll receive a decent offer and a move away will tempt him.

Baldock will stay as I can’t imagine he would be offered a similar contract elsewhere. Would like to see us utilise him better. Even if our favoured formation is 1 up front, I’d like to see us develop that plan B that we can revert to and use him.

If Puscas goes we’ll get someone else in, if he doesn’t I don’t think we’ll strengthen in that area

It hasn't been discussed but what if somebody comes in for Cabral and he goes? I hope that doesn't happen as he has been my POTY

He knows this, just looking for replies.

Wouldn't shock me if clubs had a look at Rafael, he has the ability to play in one of the better European leagues.

Well I know that but which one can we go for is what I'm saying that is as good and affordable?

Cabral is a good keeper and other European teams might want a look at him.

Dunno. Thats what the scouts are for. There's a young Portuguese GK at Everton we could probably get.

Isn't that what he was doing before he came to play for us though? On shot-stopping ability, yes I think he could probably cut it in a top European league, but I don't think his distribution is quite up to scratch, which seems to really be a quality that teams look for now.

I think he is probably good enough to get by in a top league but I am not suggesting he would be playing for a decent side. At the end of the day there is a reason he is at Reading, probably 2 reasons. Firstly nobody else wanted him and secondly he wanted to rebuild his career and get a decent move to a better club. Wouldn't surprise me to see him off this summer at all.

On the contrary, I'd be really surprised to see him go. I know players move clubs quite often but it seems pretty rare for someone to just stay a season.

Yes, if Reading got a stupid offer, they'd probably take it, but with 2(?) years still left on his contract, they'd want to do everything they could to keep hold of him.

I'd be really disappointed if we lost him so soon.

Yeah me too, I like him. Think it is good for Osho and McIntyre to have a proven and experienced keeper behind them for organisational purposes more than anything.
