Commentator as the top of the division is shown; “of course Swansea are the only ream Reading can catch” despite the fact Reading could also catch both Barnsley and Bournemouth.

lol @ "they can only catch Swansea now" while showing the table which has us 6 behind Barnsley with a better goal difference.

Swift actually picking someone out, which is nice to see for a change.

Gr8 header from Meite right in the corner. The defender should have come out but stayed with him and Swift put it on a plate.

Lovely goal from a lovely ball. Great movement from Meite.

Poor from João. Needed to test the keeper more.

I don't mind losing Olise in the summer but losing Swift would be crushing.

That was really a pen on Meite.

Getting better. Ref not giving us a lot of 50/50s

Given Swift’s injury record, plus the fact he’s out of contract next summer, reckon there’s little chance of him leaving this summer.

Brogue would look like a complete idiot if we turn this around and get in the playoffs

Oh my god we're actually beating Swansea for once.

We haven't scored first against them for 8 games

I hope not. If we could just keep him fit he would easily be the difference between a successfull and average season. We have been missing that quality of ball badly. He just seems to add so much to our performances.
Bournmouth have managed to keep Jack Wheelchair fit...if we can just keep him fit. We would have torn Barnsley to bits with his ball over the top.

Tbf, Swift's best season is the same as Olise this season.

Become a very important player, but he's just too injury prone and he's getting older which may see that get worse and his recovery worse.

Ejaria could be as good, if he'd just learn the same lesson about playing a bit simpler, faster and more direct.

It would be nice to have two teams to hope for results from rather than just hoping Barnsley lose.

Wouldn’t it be fun though if Reading did get that miracle next weekend and win a Norwich while Swansea and Barnsley both fell apart and lost in their games.

It’’ll only happen if Reading fail to win today though
