Final day of the Turkish League on Saturday and 3 teams could all win the league

Besiktas blew their lead lising the last 2 games and now they sit top on 81, with Galatasaray also on 81, and Fenerbehce 2 points behind them

H2H decides it if they are on the same points and the H2H between the top 2 is equal so it comes down to GD which Besiktas have an advantage of by just 2. If GD is also level then GS comes in which Besiktas have the advantage.

Goztepe (10th) Vs Besiktas
Galatasaray Vs Yeni Malatyaspor (14th)
Kayserispor (17th) Vs Fenerbahce

Galatasaray need to win by 3 goals more than Besiktas win by

Madrid win to keep the pressure up with 2 games left, with a goal assisted by former tranmere youth player and Spain youth International, the very Spanish sounding Marvin Park

Born in Spain to a Nigerian father and Korean mother.

Something I hadn't realised about the Spanish B team system is that players can appear for both B team and the senior side in the same season.

I read something a month ago that contradicted that. There was a piece about someone in the Real Madrid B team who was doing really well and due to all the injuries in the first team would get a chance, but it said you sign a contract for the B team which restricts you to that. Its also possible I just misread something, it has been known.

My understanding is that you have to be registered to one or other and the registration can only be transfered during a window.

It is further limited in that only players under 25 can move between the two.

In Germany, as I understand it once a player has made 10 apps for the first team, they cannot play for the reserve side.

Is that 10 games in a season or 10 games in total?

Juve Vs Inter (derby d'Italia) in a couple of hours time

A loss for Juve and they are likely out of the CL next season (Napoli result depending)

Atalanta secure CL football for next season after yet another high scoring game. On course to be Serie A's highest scorers for the 3rd season in a row

Must be one of the most fun clubs to be a fan of

Winston Biscuit Robert Lewandowski scores a hat-trick taking his league goals to 39 for the season, 1 behind the all time Bundesliga goals record for a season.

He has 2 games left to add to it. He missed 5 league games recently too.

Scored today so has equaled the record. 40 goals in 28 games

1 game left to break it

Results: this PM Super Lig settled by a very narrow margin as previewed by WB

Winston Biscuit Final day of the Turkish League on Saturday and 3 teams could all win the league

Goztepe 1-2 Besiktas
Galatasaray 3-1 Yeni Malatyaspor (14th)
Kayserispor 1-2 Fenerbahce

Besiktas champions by 1 goal, though had the buffer of Gala needing 2 more due to respective Goals scored.

At the other end, where issues were more or less decided last week, the 2 Ankara-based sides both finish in the bottom 4 and presumably unless they have POs, will be going down with Denizlispor and Erzurumspor.
- Kayserispor escape the drop in spite of defeat this evening but were well clear on GD.
A big win for Ankaragucu was the only possible threat and they were beaten 0-1 at home by Alanyaspor.
Genclerbirligi almost certainly could not have turned round the GD deficit required but were beaten 2-1 at Trabzon - the late winner coming from Benik Afobe: the visitors goal scored by ex 'Cottager' Ayite.

Frankfurt all but complete their fcuk up of a CL place.

Having thought back to lead 2-1 at Schalke, they hit self destruct, let in an immediate equaliser before Schalke scored twice more in a 4 minute spell.

Laid seige after that but only pulled one back to lose 4-3 at the worst side to grace the Bundesliga for some time.

If Dortmund win today and Wolfsburg don't lose, game over.

Bochum and Kiel should confirm promotion today and Hamburg's now annual promotion screw up could be complete today if they don't equal Fürth's result.

Winston Biscuit Big games in Serie A tonight. Juventus away to Sassuolo who are in 8th and on a great run of form.

A loss for Juve and results going against them elsewhere could almost finish their CL qualifying hopes

Atalanta Vs AC Milan on the last day of the season. It's possible a draw would be enough for them both to be guaranteed CL football. Not sure Italian clubs are into shenanigans like that though....

If Milan beat Cagliari tonight then a then a final week stitch up of Juve is on the cards

Actually looks like that rule has now been changed. An u23 player can be moved up and back on a fairly relaxed basis but any player under contract with a club over that age must sit out 4 games that would have been eligible for before they can play at a lower level. To move up, there has to be 2 days between reserve and first team apps.

So say a 24 year old joins Dortmund this summer, he plays the opening game of the season and picks up an injury and is out for a month. If they want him to play for Dortmund II to get fitness back, he would have to miss 4 more first team games once fit before he can play in the 2nd side. If he does well enough, he could then play in the next 1st team game as long as it is more than 48 hours later.

You start from scratch each season.

Napoli beat Fiorentina to go back above Juve, and Milan. They now just need to beat Verona at home next weekend. Milan should be winning comfortably tonight, so this could well be on!

Atalanta are safe in the CL places so even if Milan lose tonight, a win vs Atalanta plus a Napoli win would still stitch Juve up.
