Zip A dull second half but job done and no goals conceded to date. A step up will be required on Tuesday night.

The dull dont concede football with the occasional exciting break might actually work in our favour against a good team. Though I fear they'll be able to make their dominance tell by punishing our defence.

Snowflake Royal So little we didn't know.
England look good when they up the tempo and run at people.
England look shit when they aimlessly play negative tip tap in their defensive third.
England's defence looks very ropey
England's attack looks threatening when it gets in behind.
Saka really positive. Taking people on, running it, high tempo, direct, forward looking.
Grealish with the swagger.

Winston Biscuit Interestingly* I heard a journo who was there say this morning, when asked how great it is securing so many games at Wembley in this tournament, that the England crowd are not helping us at all as they are being quite negative during the game, and it may have actually been helpful to have a break from that and play elsewhere

Did occur to me last night that however many fans there were in the ground (20,000?) they were hardly making themselves heard and being supportive.
Might just be a perception too, but there seems to be a more than proportional number of shirtless drunken tw@ts in the crowd.

It was said that you could hear some England fans booing the team during taking the knee, booing the team at HT and booing the team at FT, and they were negative towards Gareth Southgate during the game.
can't believe that doesn't propel England players to perform at their best?!
