Pepe the HorsemanNathStPaulPepe the Horseman When the MK Dons fans turn on us it'll really hurt.
They should just start calling us tinpot and irrelevant from the start to win over the rest of the league.
Went to their stadium once, never again. It is the most depressing place in the Football League, just miserable.
Yeh same. Watched them beat us 1-0 and it was fcuking freezing.

Winston Biscuit A surprising number of games between the play off chasers in L1 still to come. Plymouth's run in looks toughest so I am happy they won last night and are looking strong to finish in the top 6 right now
I am still laughing at Sunderland for sacking their manager when in 3rd place and are now 6th with 2 teams just a point behind them and in their 7 remaining games they still have to play the teams currently in 5th, 4th & 1st

Winston Biscuit There is a chance we could see one, or even 2, teams finish on 90+ points in L1 and still be in the play offs

Winston Biscuit **retro ups and downs chat**
After the 1871 podcast with Archie I was just looking at the 95/96 season and there was only an 8 point gap between 2 places above relegation and 2 places outside the play offs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995%E2%80%9396_Football_League#First_Division
seems like a very small gap. and ends up being slightly misleading on how good a team was compared to another team

Mad that, everyone was shit away from home. We did at least though prove our 19th was no fluke. In 96-97, we finished 18th despite having the second best home record in the league.
I started going in 96-97, and mainly by happy coincidence, not least the following season, I didn't see us lose a game (was only going to Elm Park at first) until we lost 1-0 to Portsmouth in February 1998, around 17 or 18 games iirc.

Sanguine Forest are a statistical oddity in this season's table, where these is a remarkably low deviation in goals scored and conceded.
On Forest, they are the league's fifth top scorers, have the third best defence, but sit ninth in the league. Of their ten league defeats, seven have been by a single goal.

Sanguine Might have missed a discussion elsewhere, but what on earth has happened to Forest Green. They were clear and up, now no win in seven and probably looking over their shoulder.
Anyone know anything about Dorking Wanderers? They sit top of National League South, having also been top of the table when the 20-21 season was curtailed. A decade ago they were winning Division Three of the Sussex League, the first of six promotions in that time.
Would like to see Arbroath (second by two points) edge Kilmarnock for promotion from the Scottish Championship, just for a 'new' team in the SPL.

chucked a tenner on Forest to finish in the top 6 back in Jan at 5-1. At the time they had the 2nd best record in the division since Steve Cooper took over. Currently being offered £34 cash out

Let it roll, and then enjoy them choking in the playoffs once again

results really going their way at the moment too. They were the only team between 6-12 to win at the weekend, and with their games in hand they really should be in the play offs this year.
