Sanguine Luton's draw last night means that Fulham now need a maximum of four points from their remaining eight games, for promotion. If they win at Boro tonight, they can secure a third promotion in five seasons on Easter Sunday at home to Coventry.

Bournemouth in a good position too - 85 points currently the most they will need, but likely three wins from nine games will take Scott Parker back to the PL in his first season since leaving Craven Cottage.

Fulham are good to watch but for oxf*rd sake just stay in the Premier league already

Rotherham's stumble towards the line finally catches up with them and last night they dropped out of the automatic places, though still have 2 games in hand on MK Dons who are above them.

Oxford busy screwing up their play off chase with a 2nd loss in a row last night. They play Sunderland at the weekend. A loss in that could see them struggling to make the play offs

Fulham still need 9 points because of Forest's games in hand. Their game against Coventry is on April 10th, not Easter Sunday. They could get promoted then, but only if other clubs lose games. Other than that, OK....

So it's quite likely that they will still need points when they play Derby.

Ah yeah, you're right, albeit is in effect eight points as Fulham's GD is so huge.

Oldham have won 2 in a row and jumped out the L2 relegation zone, pushing Stevenage into it. But Oldham have a pretty tough run in, and Stevenage have a game in hand, with their 7 remaining fixtures including games against the teams in 18th 19th, 20th & 24th

With MK Dons storming towards a push for promotion to the Championship, could this be an ideal time for former hero Dele Alli to make his return in a bid to regain first team football?

Certainly one to ponder

Rotherham's season really does have the potential to turn into an absolute train wreck if they are not careful

Bizarre, what has happened?

Starting with a win at Bolton in September they won 20 out of 27 league games (5 draws, 2 defeats), conceding just 11 goals. Now they've won just one in their last six, including two successive home defeats to bottom half sides.

Oxford's form disappeared at just the wrong time, does now look like they are out of the playoff picture.

Would be great if Wycombe pipped Sunderland to 6th, given it was Wycombe who leapfrogged Sunderland into the playoffs on PPG in the COVID shortened 19-20 season.

Crewe were relegated from L1 at the weekend. Lost 15 of their last 16 games.

In what is a relief for all concerned, Rotherham appear to be bottling automatic promotion.

2 down at Pompey now. Still have a game in hand over MK but it is against Sunderland.

Tough one as not sure what is funnier Rotherham bottling promotion or Sunderland missing the play-offs.

Make the most of it and go for the double header.

I thought Barnsley & Rotherham had an agreement to swap places each season?!

I think the agreement reads

Barnsley and generic Northern shithole Town that plays rugby league

Wigan are filling the gap for Rotherham this season

And surprise surprise the Fulham and norwich agreement goes on another year

Find it incredible that even with four games to go, 6th spot in L1 is on 76 points, surely can’t be far off a record in terms of points needed for the top 6

With 3 going up, the team in 4th are 9 behind with 4 to play. I think they're safe.
