Is it still the case that if a club goes back up before the parachute payments end, the money is distributed across the EFL? Would be handy if so.

I know we're all busy people, but perhaps try reading back a couple of pages before posting......

I can't believe we were 1-0 up against Coventry and then lost 1-2 again.

Everyone forgets re Bounemouth they've balanced the books since being down, before parachute payments are added (unlike Fulham)

By my count they got £90m in player sales from Ake, Danjuma and Wilson and a fair amount for Ramsdale (£20m?).

That's decent past recruitment and sell ons.

They lost 30m over the last 2 years and 30m the season before that in the prem after player sales

Without parachutes those losses would have been huge and their squad unsustainable

In fairness to Bournemouth, they have at least tried to shift their big earners and I read somewhere that they had inserted relegation reduction clauses into their contracts of their bigger earners. They haven't just taken the Aston Villa Russian Roulette route of spaffing parachute payments on a desperate attempt to climb back up.

Just went to watch Wycombe v MK. I really hope Wycombe can make it back up.

I was surprised to see John Swift at Adam's Park. Probably gone to watch his mate McCleary.

Wycombe were a great watch tonight. Wish we had their spirit, energy, crosses, corners. And a five minute turn from 40 year old 20 stone Akinfenwa!

Whilst MK are much weaker than the opposition we've faced this season I wish we played with the spirit and energy that Wycombe did tonight

I wish we had their manager, he's exactly who we need.

Well at least Norwich and Watford will only get 2 years of parachute payments rather than 3 as they were both immediately returned to the Championship after just 1 season.
