windermereROYAL Even the match thread only had 4 pages. on the site I looked on anyway.
It reached 12 on the messageboard I post on with a lot of posts me moaning about our injuries.

ZipRoyals and RacersZip
They thought their boys were terrible
Not overly impressed by us though and they hated Tim Dellor's commentary with a number of them turning the sound off
One poster was impressed by Ovie
General view was that we wanted it more
thanks- i was hoping they would be slagging us off more
On the board I post on they are a good bunch ..they were confident pre match not least because of my pessimism about our chances because of all the injuries
They hated Dellor

windermereROYAL A couple of their fans saying the keeper should have done better on the penalty when he guessed right
eeeer, no he didn`t he stood still hoping Shane would go down the middle and only dived after the ball was struck.

If he did guess right early, it was very saveable.

Hound Tbf he hit it pretty hard and very low. Wouldn’t be an easy save, ball had passed him before he reacted

Royalwaster What's our penalty conversion rate over the last few years - my feeling is that it's pretty poor; also how does it compare with other teams. I seem to feel that other teams always convert their penalties against us - but maybe that's again home team bias?

Would actually say there is some truth in this.
Most penalties are saveable if the ‘keeper goes the right way and early enough.
Would say that unless it is right in the corner/side netting, it would be classed as saveable.
That doesn’t mean that I think every penalty should be saved, there is obvious skill in sending the ‘keeper the wrong way, but when you just roll it in, halfway between the middle and the post - you can’t tell me that’s not “saveable”

The second half was so poor (both us and them).
We had no shape at all and no control of the ball, creating very little. That said, neither did they…..
A game to forget. And one that we really should have taken something from as Reading were as poor as we were.

Didn’t think he struck it particularly hard
