WestYorksRoyalHoundStranded Ince stating again that he feels we still don't do enough stretching and implying that some of the players are perhaps only paying it lip service rather than doing it properly, which is pretty major indictment of their professionalism if so.
He has now introduced yoga sessions twice a week as a way to improve this.
Sounds a good idea. At least something practical
Pauno would just always bemoan his bad luck. Good to at least have a manager who acknowledges it may reflect upon things we can do better as a club. Of course the best solution would be to bring in an expert to monitor how we work and provide solutions, or hire a new sports scientist who can provide fresh ideas. I know funds are tight, but do non-playing staff add that my to the budget?
However, given that Ince highlighted lack of stretching as an issue last season, the introduction of new measures seems rather slow.
Also, I presume and hope that the players do some stretching in the dressing rooms before they return to the pitch after half-time because the first thing they do when they get back on the pitch is a fast feet cones drill!
