Probably not back until after the international break then.

Massive shame. Thought we would really miss him today but the lads did well throughout and we were solid. Hopefully we can wrap a deal up for Luongo so that, at least in the short-term, we can rotate in the middle where necessary and add a bit of depth in the midfield.

Both Loum and Sarr are likely to be out for 2-3 weeks according to PI’s after match interview though Loum is due a scan today which may change his prognosis. Therefore reckon neither will be back until 1st October at the earliest.

Yet again though, anothother injury in training

Yep it’s an issue. Too many training injuries. Hopefully both will be back for start October.
Meite surely can’t be far away from returning!

Looks like Long is out for the weekend but in better news, Loum and Meite have a chance of returning to the squad

Sarr is a possibility for Wigan and expect to see Ejaria back past the international break with Dann not returning until January

Does anyone care about Dann? He is taking up a squad place and wages but has little to offer going forward.
Disappointing Long is out. We need at least one of Meite or Loum back at the weekend otherwise it's threadbare again.

Luck is still very much out on the injury front, hopefully Long is only missing for this weekend and/or Meite is fit enough for the bench in the next couple of games as I wouldn't trust Joao to stay fit for a good run of games, especially with the number of games we have coming up.

Dann may as well just retire at this point to be honest.

Hopefully we do see Loum and Meite back in the squad shortly, or if not that, then a new signing we can put onto the bench and hopefully get up to speed in at least one of those positions, preferably both. Asking for a lot there though.

Don’t worry the Watford reckon game will be postponed anyway and even if it goes ahead Ehibhatiomhan is fit and well and looks to have something about him.

Possibly, I just wouldn't want us to be reliant on him at this stage. Did well when he came on against Stoke but in a different situation, but potentially deserves a chance if we are in that position as well.

Current injury list.

Hoping though no-one picked up any problems today and that none of those that might be on international duty (Loum, Joao, Hoilett, Rahman and Yiadom) come back damaged.

Ovie Ejaria - hamstring - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Femi Azeez - hamstring - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Shane Long - illness - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Naby Sarr - groin - chance to be ready for Huddersfield
Liam Moore - knee - out until January
Scott Dann - calf - out until January

Any more of the senior players injured that I’ve forgotten?

Fingers crossed then that the club can get Ejaria, Azeez, Long and Sarr back, certainly make the bench look rather competitive at last.

I'd be surprised if Azeez is back for Huddersfield. I wonder if Tetek is injured again as not involved in the last two squads

Tetek played for the u21s v Bristol today so not injured (least at the start of the game anyway).
