Does look good but we will have Loum, Fornah, Tetek, Hutchinson etc who can already play at cdm. Do we really need another?

I guess the advantage that Amadou would have over the others on that list would be that he'd be a permanent signing who hopefully wouldn't be injured all the time.

If Hutchinson is seen as a central defender then this guy would give us 4 players for 2 positions (unless you count Hendrick as a defensive midfielder.....)

Hendrick is certainly playing alongside Fornah, and not as an attacking midfielder. He may not exactly be a DM, but he's in that blurred line between DM and standard CM which often may as well be basically the same thing.

Has he been featuring for the U23's in any of their games at all? I can't say I've seen his name listed anywhere.

No.
Would he be allowed to given he is not our player ? Can you just throw any random player into a competitive U21 game ?

Gives him a chance to show what he can do. Suspect he will be on the bench tomorrow night. Again though looks like he’s fits the mould of a strong, and physical midfielder who will be well suited to the Championship.

I assume if he does really well we can extend his contract before it finishes in January? It looks to be more sensible transfer business by the club and still leaves us with a couple of spaces in January if he’s not good enough.

Cue an injury that keeps him out for 3 months.

The more I read about this signing the more I like it. This young man seems to have worked his way up the hard way. Would love to see him shine for us.

Happy with this, the 12th signing, with hopefully Carroll coming up next how can we afford them all and stay within the restrictions?
