isn’t it normally a ‘double header’ with the FA Trophy boys? (Allifax v Gatesheed)SutekhRoyals and Racers And they will play Newport Pagnell(won it in 2022) who drew 2-2 at Congleton and then won 3-2 on pens !!!
Wonder what idiot prices Wembley will charge for the final. Final is on the weekend of 20 May isn’t it?

thanx Lighthouse…..much appreciated, any idea of the attendance today, many away fans?Lighthouse Corsham 2 Ascot 2 (Ascot win 5-4 on pens). Was at this game, most entertaining game I’ve seen this season. Corsham really made an effort to get the game on. They had thought it was going to be postponed but had hired in a super sopper to dry out the pitch and it was perfectly playable if heavy underfoot and the grass was long.
Corsham dominated the early part of the game and should have been 2 up before Ascot scored and they were on top until half time. Corsham started the second half well and equalised form a corner scored by ex-Hungerford player James Rusby, they then dominated and deservedly went 2-1 up. As in the first half Ascot started applying pressure and equalised quite late on. The Ascot number 10 Matthews? looked quite lively.
Have been to a double header Vase/Trophy final, the year Thatcham played. it’s a good day out and I think I paid £25

NathStPaul Reports of Basingstoke supporters misbehaving and being abusive yet again at an away ground. Nice bunch.

If there was anything, I didn't see it, so probably nothing major. One did lob a flare on towards the end, but most were just grumbling.

You whining about people being abusive is kind of ironic, don't you think?

Royals and Racers Even though the matches involving Bracknell and WSM were rained off, it could be considered a good day as The other title contenders Truro lost 3-2 at Beaconsfield.
Current table
1 WSM P 36 points 79 GD +50
2 Truro P 36 points 74 GD + 38
3 Bracknell P 34 points 72 GD + 40

Bracknell’s games in hand though are away at Truro and at home to Met Police. Oddly I don’t think Bracknell have played Met Police at all this season!
