I look forward to the next round of cloggers we put our faith in over talented youngsters who leave with minimal appearances under their belt and go on to succeed elsewhere.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter getting stressed as no-one has signed in the last 48 hours.

I think Selles did say hours/days. I did wonder if Amos will pass his medical as I think he’s had knee ligament damage twice.

To be fair, the clock is ticking. Every day we don't make signings, we have less time to let the team gel ahead of the season. We're going in undercooked and will likely start the season slowly.

The club have used up all our patience this summer.

Would rather us show some patience and get the right player on rather than rush and get landed with someone useless. It’s a long, long season

Sounds like the embargo nonsense prob cost us a couple of targets

Be moving too quickly means we may just sign a player for the sake of it. Selles also spoke about maybe being able to pay fees, may have a couple of players lined up but need that sorted first.

With free agents, just because there is no announcement doesn't mean they aren't already at the club, may just need T's crossing before made public.

Exactly this. Would much rather sign the right players we need and be reconciled with us having a slow start whilst they gel than just signing any old players for the sake of it. We saw with Cov and Boro last season that a slow start isn't end of season, plenty of time to improve.

I think that's a typo: Amos is a too temperate player. Surprised he's getting the freedom of Reading card already.

Could just be training in a top with his brothers name on the back. Wouldn't think there is anything in it unless something more substantial comes out.

It's all irrelevant as if any signings to be are already here as triallists they'll be in the pre-season training sessions anyway.

Isn't this guy Robbie Savage's son? I believe he's a central midfielder, but don't really know how good he is. If we are in for him, I'd like to think he's at least of League One quality.
