Wycombe have a bit of the proverbial run in from hell, got Wrexham at home on Saturday and an awkward last day visit to Orient too!LightwaterRoyal wrote:Looking at the remaining fixtures between the teams above us competing for the Play Offs, this could still swing massively.

Even Stockport in the final I can take as it's just one game and a question of who can handle the occasion. It's Stockport over 2 legs I dread.morganb wrote:3 Wycombe 75 (6 games left)
4 Stockport 74 (5)
5 Charlton 73 (5)
Reading are effectively playing for 6th - which of the above teams do we want in the PO Semi and who do we want in the Final?
Ideally we'd avoid Stockport so Wycombe (SF) and Charlton (F)

Sadly with Stockport's current form coupled with Wycombe's run in I can see them nicking third so we'd get them in the semi....WestYorksRoyal wrote:Even Stockport in the final I can take as it's just one game and a question of who can handle the occasion. Just a different way to lose another set of play offs….Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Sadly with Stockport's current form coupled with Wycombe's run in I can see them nicking third so we'd get them in the semi....WestYorksRoyal wrote:Even Stockport in the final I can take as it's just one game and a question of who can handle the occasion. If the club survives and we finish 7th or 8th, these players and staff will already be looked back on as giants in our history. They have fought against all the odds to bring happiness and a positive focal point in our darkest hour, and helped the club appeal to investors. The amount of times they have bought positivity back after a dreadful week off the pitch is remarkable. If they finished 6th and won the play offs I don't know where it would leave them in our history.katweslowski wrote:If Reading made it to 6th and into the Playoffs, I'd back us for the win.
For the simple fact that EVERYTHING has been against us. It seems unfathomable already and this just seems like the last bit to complete the craziest season in our history for a long time (rivalling 106 but for very different reasons).
