Can I offer my support by suggesting they call their protest group Not A Chansiri In Hell?

Sutekh Have STAR and SBWD reached out to Wednesday supporter groups to see if they can help with advice/ideas etc.?

Seems to me Chansiri is exactly the same as Dai except worse in that he's vocal and takes swipes back at everyone which could make things a whole lot worse for everyone.

A couple of articles on the mess...

Seems the main stumbling block to resolution is the owner's completely idiot asking price for the club.

I still have half a carton of tennis balls left if anyone in the South Yorkshire area might be interested

Players and staff at Sheff Wed not paid again, 3rd time in 4 months and 7th time since March 2021. More charges likely to follow…

Manager Danny Rohl still looking to leave and has not as yet returned for preseason

Players can serve notice as of today - though seems to be some suggestion that young players and those with a decent transfer value have been paid in full in at attempt to protect that investment.

Sheffield Star in fact reporting, some players have handed in their notice but unclear who. The club have 15 days to pay those who have done so in full else they become free agents.

:D

It is understood that only the Wednesday U21 players have received their June wages on the due date.

The Sheff Wed Supporters organisation has recommended that its members (and the wider fan base) should boycott the club shop and food outlets for the remainder of Chansiri’s ownership.

Textor and Mandaric are out of the running to try and buy the club.

Morecombe look likely to enter administration today. This may see them unable to take their place in the National League, as they have strict rules around accepting clubs in admnistration.

If it happens, they may have to move down 2 divisions or possibly have to league to play in at all.

Their owner destroyed Worcester Warriors rugby club and appears to be taking Morecombe down in the same way even though new owners have already received clearance to take over and just need to have the shares transferred to them, which the owner seems unwilling to do for some reason.

Whilst our situaton was awful, it does feel as though both Morecombe and Wednesday are going through much worse. Fingers crossed.

Looking at the most recent statement from the current board, they said that unless the club chairman transferred his shares by 6pm last night they will have no alternative but to start proceedings to put the club into administration at the earliest opportunity today. So I guess unless their chairman suddenly completes the transfer or gives the board some reasoning behind his moronic decision the club is as good as gone.

All very strange from a guy who said recently that he couldn’t wait to sell and get out of the club. Trouble is, with his previous history at Worcester, I can’t see there being much hope. I trust he bought Worcester after buying Morecambe otherwise surely the FL would have failed his take over of Morecambe?

On the bright side Worcester Warriors are back at Championship Rugby level after reforming so hopefully Morecambe can recover successfully in the long term.

Ah yes, you are right, had the timeline out - they bought Worcester in a round about way after they bought Morecombe.

The Morecambe board’s threat to dump the club in admin if the owner didn’t sell up has been somewhat curtailed by the owner as he has now sacked all members of the board saying his company, Bond Group Investments, will take control of the situation and that it will provide the required additional time to ensure that the club has the best chance to avoid administration.
