windermereROYAL Interesting news on the SSN this morning. probably nothing but.

Eastleigh confirm they have accepted a club record fee from a league one club for forward Tyrese Shade

Their previous record fee was 120K, so it's probably above Couhig's budget.

Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s from Reading we definitely shopping at bargain basement.
I’d rather have Deadly Night…..

Reading fans a few months ago: "All I want is the club to survive and to be run well. "

Reading fans right now: "Why aren't we out-spending all the other clubs in League 1? We've been lied to. Couhig out!"

Not bothered, 14 goals in 43 games at national league level isn`t anything to get excited about.

It's not like we were even interested in him.

He was never a target, it was speculation.

I'd assumed it was us that paid that for Brett Williams but just checked and it was only £50,000

Pure speculation but wonder whether we are in for Jude Soonsup-Bell. Apparently Swindon wanted to reunite with him as ex youth player of there’s but he had offers from further up the pyramid. Prolific youth striker but not clicked yet at senior level. Recently was in Spain but mutually cancelled his contract

I’d say he’s certainly worth a look but would Reading want to partner such an inexperienced player with the inexperience we already have on loan.

Be interesting to see if Knibbs is involved at all on Saturday.

Any new signing will need to be done by noon tomorrow in order for them to make the squad but you would imagine its unlikely even if they sign today.

Did we counter offer on Knibbs or did he change his mind when he met Nathan Jones ?

It may just be that the squad isn't quite as bad as people think it is (although it could still be better).

Hard to look passed the 6 listed as the automatic promotion hopefuls, certainly if Reading finished above all of them they'd be promoted.
