One thing on this, the Port Vale manager is Darren Moore who was Devante’s boss when he was at Doncaster so it’s probably not much of a surprise to see Reading lose out.

Moore interviewed by BBC Stoke and states that whilst takes it as a compliment to be linked to such a good player there is absolutely nothing in it. So he'll join them on Monday!

While I would agree with that statement there’s still a slim chance he might be on the market then. Wonder what is the actual word is from those ITK at this end.

As I said in a previous post, Barnsley fans said he was great playing the high press which seems to be the way we're going and he's quick, physical and experienced. His goals scoring record isn't that much of a concern given that we score a lot from midfield.

I think he'd be a decent signing.

Wouldn’t say no as backup to O Mahony

It’ll be nice to add a bit of experience and we do need an extra CF for the season
