Winston Biscuit Alexander Isak:

“When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue”.

“I'm proud to be recognised by my fellow professionals with a place in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season for 2024/25.

First and foremost I want to thank my teammates and everyone at Newcastle United who has supported me along the way.

I'm not at the ceremony tonight. With everything going on, it didn't feel right to be there.

I've kept quiet for a long time while others have spoken. That silence has allowed people to push their own version of events, even though they know it doesn't reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors.

The reality is that promises were made and the club has known my position for a long time. To now act as if these issues are only emerging is misleading.

When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship can't continue. That's where things are for me right now – and why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself”.

Forest sign Douglas Luiz from Juve on season loan with €30M purchase

in the last few days they have also signed Omari Hutchinson for £37M, James McAtee for £30 and Arnaud Kalimuendo for £27M

Kalimuendo was 3rd top scorer in Ligue 1 last season

sounds like they are fine. the next set of accounts to analyse for PSR is 24/25, and the Championship season of 21/22 will have dropped out of the 3 year rolling PSR window for that which helps (as its a reduced allowed loss)

The spending they are doing this summer will be analysed in a years time, but even then they've sold a fair bit, have European money coming in this season, and their big spending summer of 22/23 will have dropped out of the rolling 3 year PSR window for that

I thought it was Newcastle getting their pants pulled down in this transfer window - but Arsenal swooping in to sign Eberechi Eze from under Spurs' nose is nothing short of hilarious.

Why would Reading get anything? He went to Millwall, qpr, then to palace. Don’t think we get anything do we?

He spent some time in the Reading Academy between the ages 13 and 16 before joining Millwall.
