Matejovsky comes to mind, though I never saw him play for us in our first time in the Prem.
Going back further:
There was a ginger haired fella (not Sidwell), who played around the end of Elm Park period, Welsh I believe.
And I’ll see your Rashawn Scott and raise you the other Scott (from Wycombe, tall fella, who always stood in front of opposition when they took throw ins).

From Despair To Where? I think I might be mixing him up with Sean Long.

But I do remember Stephen Kelly.

Fun fact. I bought a house in gipsy lane in Earley in 2014. And he (Sean long) lived there. the lady who owned it before me had signed up to the academy programme where they host academy kids for the club.

Gareth Davies

Now 51, retired from the game at 29 due to persistent knee problems. Played about 20 league games for Reading and was the epicentre of Bodingate.

Keith Scott

Now 58. Retired in 2006 though still turns out in occasional charity/old boy affairs. Shocked everyone when the club suddenly paid £250k for him on transfer deadline day in March 1999 as Wycombe were desperately short of money - about 30 league games and not much return goals wise over 2 years. Another one of Tommy Burns’ great ideas - and there were loads of them.

Not who you were referring to as he's a midget but Scott Golbourne also

An upgrade on yours.
My son and his then wife bought the house that Steve Sidwell had rented in Shinfield.

Looking at my old autograph book I do not remember any of the following;

David High (played 72*, times noted in my book)
David Bridger (played 10)
James Lofty (played 2)
Alan Morris (played 12)
Morris Cook (played 12)
* all League games some players also played on FA Cup and/or League Cup games as well.
I didn.t get Morris Cook's autograph, but got all the rest mentioned, along with with many others of that era.

Royal Ginger

Is that Cwyka? Think he was signed just as Zingarevich turned up.

Seem to recall he formed a very makeshift midfield at Brighton, with himself and Hayden Mullins - another people may have forgotten about playing for us. We got absolutely battered that might, but managed to nab a 1-0 win via an Ian Harte deflected free-kick and a Federici penalty save.

My daughter replaced Shane Long’s (now) wife at (then) Rockwell Collins

Saw Chris Armstrong mentioned.

Player of Season 08-09 and revealed, after retiring, he'd been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in that season.

Fondly remembered here.

Such modesty from the star of this thread.

Wrttop, you’d be surprised how many have forgotten/ never known that the current World Cup winning goalie played for us.

Thank you to both of you for responding to this. Both of these are correct.
I’d like to add Brayson and the other McIntyre to this (from Burns’ period, not Tom).

I remember the final day of (checks notes) 14/15 when Jack Stacey started alongside some other youngsters, having impressed in his other cameos earlier that season. He got injured, Tariqe Fosu came on for him and looked like a real gem while we won 3-0 and ruined Derby's play-off dream.

Fosu never played for us again, had a few loans and has built up a reasonable career in the EFL. Stacey was the same but has played in the Prem and is currently at Norwich.

Sutekh At this moment, I can’t remember any of the Reading players I’ve forgotten about.
