Some cracking local derbies on the fixture list for tomorrow.
Flackwell Heath v Beaconsfield and Holmer Green v Penn & Tylers Green FC are 2 of note. I am however going elsewhere up the M4 to a new ground for me Uxbridge v Sholing on the 3g pitch. Knowing my luck a 0-0 will be in the cards :D
Interestingly i have found out that Uxbridge were formed in 1871 which of course is the exact same year as the Royals.

Royals and Racers Maidenhead Utd have announced that at the end of this week Alan Devonshire is stepping away from team management.
is it AD ‘stepping away’? or is it the “we thank him for his services” ‘mutual agreement’ sacking?

Been there forever

Flackwell Heath 3 Beaconsfield 1

Uxbridge 0 Sholing 2

Uxbridge ground i found difficult to find but was really impressed by the facilities and £1 entrance for concessions is a steal ! Sholing impressed me as a well organised side who deserved the win.

3-1 Cobham in the end; Thatcham never looked like winning. Cobham are quite a way clear at the top of the league, with games in hand.

I wish Reading City/Woodley would think about a similar arrangement but purely on timing rather than money (I doubt the numbers would be worth it.)
I'm invariably stuck in traffic and generally give up and go home rather than fight my way cross-town to Scours after one of our 12:30 matches
- might help if a) our Car Parks weren't a sh!£sh0w to exit regardless of crowd size and b) the A33 wasn't such a regular @r$epa!n to use on a Sat

Newent Town v Thame United Reserves

SCE-1
Chessington & Hook United v Greenways
Rochester United v SE Dons ##

## probably just for DD/DC's benefit 8) (or maybe he knows more?)
- SE Dons seem to have been 'turfed out' of the London Senior Trophy
They 'won' their original first round tie, 3-0 at Croydon FC but the 'Trams' have since progressed to R2 where they beat FC Baresi 6-0 this week
- no-official explanation has emerged as yet but some speculation on NLM is following 2 possible streams of reasoning:

i) (this one is very likely - as a lot of County Cups have complex admin/regulations ) Player ineligibility/registration issues
OR
ii) their move to g/s at Chatham may now exclude their participation, as they are no longer inside the M25 - but that's a rather 'flaky' and as yet unsubstantiated ruling. It's also pretty certain that a few other clubs involved currently, g/s outside the Orbital?

SSM-P
Dunstable Town v Aylesbury Vale Dynamos
Kings Langley v Kempston Rovers

WESS-P
Andover New Street v Sherborne Town
Christchurch v Petersfield Town
WESS-1
Ash United v Cove
Clanfield v Alresford Town
Colden Common v Totton & Eling @ Winchester
Fawley AFC v Yateley United
Kintbury Rangers
v United Services Portsmouth
Newport (IoW) v AFC Aldermaston
Whitchurch United
v Frimley Green

TVPL-P (Cup) 14:00
Maidenhead Town v Goring United @ Burnham FC
Newbury Town v Farnham Common United @ Faraday Road

- combination of weather/cba-ness and transport 'issues' (eldest had nabbed my car again) :| meant I didn't venture off the sofa midweek. :?
Had intended to try a rare TVP-L midweek game at Henley Town on Wed but that got rained off ...

I read somewhere it was a player reg issue, to do with their constant injuries meaning they are having 3 or 4 new players every week it seems

Away to Rochester, who I are one of the few unbeaten teams left now
