When is the draw?

And when could we expect a video stream of the games on RoyalTV - or do they avoid that at all costs to try and get punters through the turnstiles?

I always though FAYC games had to be held in the first team stadium. Doesn't appear to be the case going on that list.

I thought that was the case too, but looking back at previous seasons it appears this isn't a new thing. Clubs certainly need to make the game accessible for supporters, so it may have simply been the case most clubs only have their first team stadium as an option.

Was hoping to get Brentford, Tottenham or West Ham away in the next round, but if they're not going to play that game at their first team stadium, I'd rather we didn't.

Possibly, although he looks a bit younger than Scott. Would make a lot of sense though, especially being sat with Carey and Gilkes.

Hopefully Brentford get through that tie. Would rather not be surrounded by a load of Chelsea supporters!

Will be another good test for our young lads regardless of which team gets through.

Chelsea should win as they are 2nd in PL U 18 South ( out of 15) whereas Brentford are 7th in the Professional Development league South ( out of 10)

They should and will no doubt be one of the favourites to win the competition.

Disappointing that it appears no video anywhere of Wednesday’s penalty shoot out win.

Really professional set-up here. Just been chatting to Harry and Jamie Redknapp- Jamie’s son Beau is playing for Brentford.
H-T 0-0
Brentford 0 Chelsea 1 57 mins
0-2 85 mins
1-2 90+ 3 Beau Redknapp
F-T 1-2 we play Chelsea !!
Bit of a stroll for Chelsea if i’m honest - must have been 80/20% possession.

So how will Reading fare? Presumably must know Chelsea’s youngsters fairly well and played a few games against them in recent seasons?

One win each last season- not played them this -PL U 18 South table is probably the best guide as to why Chelsea will be favourites . Chelsea are 2nd we are 12th( out of 15)

Wareham and Craig would also presumably be players who were out of contract, we offered a contract to, but signed elsewhere and we're due some sort of development fee for.

Anyone else? Not Smith, obviously, nor Bindon.

Agree with this. I'd fully expect a Chelsea win.

Their recent FA Youth Cup record has been:
2025 - R5 vs Man Utd (A) - Lost 5-1
2024 - QF vs Millwall (A) - Drew 1-1 (lost 4-2 on penalties)
2023 - R4 vs Cambridge (A) - Lost 1-0
2022 - SF vs Nottm Forest (A) - Lost 3-1
2021 - R5 vs Everton (H) - Lost 2-1
2020 - Final vs Man City (A) - Lost 3-2
2019 - R3 vs Man Utd (A) - Lost 4-3
2018 - Winners vs Arsenal - Won 7-1 on aggregate
2017 - Winners vs Man City - Won 6-2 on aggregate
2016 - Winners vs Man City - Won 4-2 on aggregate

They've not winning the competition recently, and typically get knocked out away from home - even against 'weaker' sides on paper. There's a decent chance of an upset, but they should have too much for us realistically.
