The frustrating thing about Doyle is he's clearly got talent and touch, but he's just so oxf*rd soft. He's got practically zero battle in him.HoundSnowflake Royal For what's a very comfortable scoreline, it's all down to a 12th minute pen and red, and Plymouth then shitting themselves in their own box for the next ten minutes.
Without that 10 minute spell, Plymouth have looked very good, and not at all a man down.
Yeah you can’t really judge too much in the circumstances really. Stupid pen and sending off to give away (it was a red) then some truly absymal defending for our third and it’s kind of game over
Plymouth battled pretty well but their appalling pen miss killed the game off.
Still we made quite few chances, Kelvin E looked pretty sharp, Marriott keeps up a ridiculous scoring record but still big questions for me over Doyle and DK today. That DK miss was beyond useless
But a great result and 13 points from 7 now for LR which is very good. Need to keep it going with the POs somehow looking further away than ever despite the half decent form

WestYorksRoyal Next up another team on a winning streak. Peterborough have won 4 in a row, which started with their win at the SCL.
Would take a point and not be too upset if we lose given the last 2. I'm not taking the play offs seriously, though a few more good results might change my mind.

WestYorksRoyal 13 points from 7 under LR. What's actually encouraging is that we don't look convincing. It's quite obvious he's not too happy with the state of the squad and wants to put his mark on it over the next few windows. But we're getting results anyway. There should be extra gears to go through with better recruitment, starting in January.

Plus Lane and Ritchie to come back. Plus Rino not really yet used.
Hope Randell was just a precaution. He's looked a stupendous free agent signing.

Is the reason for Rhino's withdrawal from AFCON such a secret? I thought it was common knowledge - but won't disclose in case it isn't as he and his family deserve their privacy.

We’ve only been told his withdrawal was for family reasons, so presume he is with them and not going to be involved with the squad at all until he’s worked things through. Don’t think we all need (or want) to know more at all.

Crowbar6753 The sending off changed everything and clearly rattled Plymouth for 10 mins and credit to us for taking advantage of that! Plymouth showed they are a decent side and with 11players we would have struggled.
A win is a win and my only gripe with today was that we really should have had at least 6 goals with some glaring misses in the second half! DK's miss was criminal and clearly show's why he's in the lower league's as for all his good build up play he really isn't very good in front of the goal.
This next few weeks will be interesting as to see who stays and who goes? Jacob has gone and i think MOM will leave as well. Burns i think will stay as cover and i think Doyle will stay. This might be a bit controversial but i really wouldn't be opposed to one of Wing or Savage being sold for cash if needed. We have Rinhomota and Fraser on our books and i believe our midfield is an area that needs beefing up and rebalancing. I guess we will see soon enough.

Hound Wing was bloody good today as well tbf. Think we prob take him for granted a bit at times, frustrated as we all are with him playing deep
I mean great pen, another good win of the loose ball and finish, goal saving tackle and a pinpoint assist for Marriott…great stuff

Couldn't describe him better myself, as for being soft, you could add at least a couple more of our players.

Today was his best game of the season, and his best moments came from being higher up on the pitch which is not a surprise.
I would not want to sell him. He's a cornerstone team member and one of the best midfielders in the league if we can unlock his talent more consistently. I feel like a lot of fans are flippant and take him for granted. He's not been near his best but the whole team is struggling and if we are to become a good L1 team he should clearly be a big part of our plans. Sell for silly money only.
