Really liked that Keane goal - swinging cross and back post header - can’t think we’ve scored too many like that this year have we? Maybe one from Kelvin?

Nice to have that in the locker now with Keane there

Just seen the sky highlights, obviously delighted with the win with 2 clinical finishes but on another day it could have been so different, the one on one chance, a few decent saves by JP and an Eaves free header from 8 yards that he really should have done better with.
They`re an out of form side in the drop zone, we shouldn`t be giving up so many clear cut chances to them.

Tbf, it was about time we had a bit of drfensive joy after conceding three shit deflected goals in two games.

Run them again and we could easily have won those two and lost this one, still being better off.

The Cap Ref's having a great game. We sure he's not related to Paudie?

He’s the one that fell for Wimbledon’s antics.

Ah right. Nice to see him level things up then.

Carlos BFTG - It's not often away fans at nil nil boo their team off but we did and that tells you how we played.

It tells me something completely different, what a bunch of juvenile dickheads we have following us on the road now.
When did booing your team ever achieve anything?
They don`t play badly on purpose.

Clearly achieved something yesterday. A bit of motivational booing at half time and we score two goals in the second half.

I think it reflected how bad we were. I agree on booing- I don't do it, but it shows the sentiment of the the fans. Also chants of 'backwards and sideways everywhere we go'. Richardson will claim that we were patiently waiting for an opening, but all that patient waiting got us nowhere and they could have had 2 goals in the first half. We've got to try and play with some more urgency.

Sutekh Absolutely detest that stupid cr@ppy drivel national radio programme that slam dunks itself across all the BBC local radio stations and wrecks the local post/pre match coverage as it doesn’t take into account different kick off time that clubs might have.
yup, it’s sh1t, meanwhile talking BBC and football

BBC Berks aligns with rest of the BBC footballing fraternity by having a woman commentator giving her ‘expert opinion’ on the mens game, but why can’t Charlie Estcourt pronounce the letter ‘t’ in any of her words?

Sports punditry has never been gender specific - some of the great Athletics commentators and pundits have been men commentating on women's events...

Having an established international player with over 50 Caps, who was born in the town and played for the club before moving abroad to play in the US, in arguably, one of the elite women's football leagues as a pundit doesn't sound unqualified...

Cancelling her based on her gender or accent would be pretty extreme...

People have put up with Adie Williams for years...

Snowflake Royal Just thinking about it, think Ritchie had one of his better performances. Works well cutting in onto his right foot to whip an inswinger to the far post, while Roberts can boom outside and whip an outswinger.

But he’s definitely a sub, not a starter.

If the Internet is to be believed, Richie is our highest paid player....

Having him as a sub with that status would make things interesting....

who’s talking about “cancelling” her?

She just needs to include the letter ‘t’ in her commentary……it is the BBC afterall

Whilst she is learning that, can someone teach Adi to say "could have" instead of "could of"? Please.

I agree on the sentiment of urgency but I think it’s difficult with the personnel we have currently. No point knocking it longer or through Lane or Doyle as they don’t have the pace or strength - end up having to knock to feet coming back a lot of the time

Marriott always looks for the ball over the top - it’s incredibly hard to make that ball work - Wing has shown he is capable but anyone else and that’s normally through the keeper. I just think our forwards are very hard to find in dangerous positions and if we try to play quicker it just comes back even more

I think add in Keane and Kelvin for the hold up/pace and strength and we’re better and I think if you had Kelvin/Keane/Marriott+ Lane/Ritchie or Doyle it’d be a very decent front line. But we also need Kelvin as a plan b

For me, it reflects how thick and entitled they are, because we weren’t really bad. A bit slow and ponderous after a decent start, but that's it.

We were bobbins first half, but upped it enough in the second to win it. Wing's brutal cross in for Keane's header very much reminded me of Kebe's cross for Roberts' goal at Southampton in 2012.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Can't help but feel if Northampton could finish, they'd have walked away with a win today.

Obviously delighted with the win, but the 1 on 1 and then the free header near the end were silly chances to give away.

Then again, how many times has the reverse been true and we've squandered the better chances and lost in a similar manner?

Yes, it was mentioned earlier, we came out of the wrong end of cruel deflections against both Barnsley and Exeter. it levels itself out.
