How's that a fk? He's gone in hard to win.the header and come off worse. Nyambe was completely focused on the ball and not the one instigating contact.

ILoveMoonPig Thing is, we can be as good as you like going forward and scoring goals, but if we're reliably conceding at least 2 goals a game, we're making it so hard to get points.

None of this defence are good enough for this level. Absolute joke. Sometimes it's like they've never played together before.

I can’t remember the last time l saw a Reading team pass the ball so poorly.

WestYorksRoyal
Ascotexgunner I seriously hate this back line. It really is shit.

POC has been a disappointing signing. Him and Lane were probably the two most exciting of the summer and both have seriously underwhelmed.

Fully agree
Suts does make a good point, though. We can't handle the high press very well. This is what is nullifying our creativity. How many shots/crosses has their keeper had to deal with?

Fed up with wing and O’Connor this season, both been pretty poor, and sick of this kick and run crap. Pereira scored twice today though, so that’s good.

Today's issue is the errant passing. Waaaay too many attempts at cute and/or highly speculative passing when a little possession and thinking is needed. Too light on the ball as well. Wimbledon just bossing us around everywhere.

Not to mention how poor our headers are. I can barely think of any that went near a Reading player. It's like we try to pick out the opposition. They don’t even drop into empty space. Just straight to Wimbledon.

Agree passing has been terrible, and we generally don’t control games due to how useless we are at keeping the ball.

It doesn’t bother me we are losing, that happens in football. But this performance is totally unacceptable.

Its a really difficult one. I don't think I would want to play against any one of them in (for example) Leyton Orient's defence. But together, it just doesn't seem to work for us. I'm hoping with the recent changes, this is just the players adjusting slowly to the changing of having 3 at the back at times, and then 4 at the back at others.

Feel like any chance we had of the playoffs has gone and the season has ended today....thought the games in hand might bring hope but we have zero chance of putting any sort of run together with most of these players around.

Dorsett adds some much needed pace, but he's not doing the view he's really a centreback any favours.

Maybe we'll finish the season with Williams and Ward at the back.

Three issues (at least):

Our CBs are very poor on the ball - hence when a team plays the high press we lose the ball constantly
Our CMs are technically good but weak - see above
Our strikers are small and weak - so when we hoof it forward we just lose the ball.

Today also our GK was poor - but normally he isn't ...

Absolute disgrace.

Lost again against another cr@p team with a diabolically awful home record. All praise AFC Charity, nice to know you’re alive and well. Now just **** off.

Only positive I can find is that Wimbledon are now Reading’s bogey team. 6 league games and a whopping 3 points from the solitary win to show for it.

Anyone know who is driving the team coach on Tuesday? If they do perhaps they could ask him to drop the management off at Ewood Park.

Seriously stop over-reacting - we lost because of individual errors ... terrible defeat sure.
