Can I still benefit from the higher tiers by just paying a lump sum?
No.
Not saying that you're wrong but it seems crazy not to allow people to do that. What sane business wouldn't be happy to have people pay for a year up front?!

They can still insist on a twelve month blocks with three months' notice to terminate.

We need to keep things in perspective and remember that we're just talking about loyalty points here. I know that we've 'gamified' lots of things in life and that people like the idea of getting 'higher scores'. But all they are are a mechanism to decide what fans should be able to go to the very few games we have where demand exceeds supply.

Personally, I think that the people that actually go to games the most regularly should be top of the queue. If you buy a season ticket and miss half the games for whatever reason then the person who does actually go to games should get priority. I appreciate that life happens and sometimes there are things more important that football - but maybe the person who puts football ahead of everything else is the one who deserves to go to the most games?

I think it’s a step in the right direction and that the club need to sit down with STAR over the next month or two and work on the fan feedback so next year any of the identified “issues” can be addressed accordingly in some way. Can’t be easy to come up with things like this and get them right straight from the off!

I like the fact that there are now a number of options all with a decent number of benefits. Looking forward to seeing how the safe standing element is managed within this system.

Only getting the points when attending the matches, will in my view could encourage fans to attend even if feeling unwell. So, if somebody attends with a contagious illness, won't it be likely to spread to other fans? So it may be prudent if the bloke next to you sneezes and coughs to move away, if any seats are available.. I also fail to see why if you have paid for a seat, why you should be penalised by going to say, your sister's wedding. It seems that you can let the club resell you seat, if you advise them of non-attendance. Does the club repay the ST holder by the amount the club resells the seat for, or just make a bigger profit? If the latter, is it even legal?

It seems a bit like they've just taken what they did at Wycombe and added all of the extra categories with additional costs for each.

I tried to look up more details but my anti-virus programme flagged their site up as 'Untrustworthy'!

I really really oxf*rd despise our fans sometimes
Only Our fans? Sounds like Facebook in general and most fans of most clubs tbf

It's a bit like BA Exec club, with all the differs levels like Gold to Blue , I think there will be very few takers for Elite especially while we're playing Div 1 dross. I feel it's unfair not giving loyalty points up front to season ticket holders who pay in one instalment or instalments, as I've done for many years to declare my interest .

The issue with loyalty points and attending away game is more of an issue in Div 1 as grounds are so much smaller, it wouldn't be an issue in the Championship

The club has to be very careful it doesn't antagonise the thousands of loyal season ticket holders , who have always been a fundamental source of income up front and arguably the biggest sign of loyalty you can show to a football club by buying a season ticket.

For me it's too complex and smacks of " American influence " clearly loyalty points is the biggest gripe, we're still playing in a shit league and suffering as a club for many years now , they need to be very careful they don't bite off the hand that feeds it.
