Impressive start. A little frantic but love the tempo.

Biggest change appears that Hendrick is no longer wasted out on the left.

Think we're playing 4-5-1 / 4-3-3 here with Fornah more on the left side.

McIntyre has a goal in him. Maybe wasted as a defender?

Seems quite fluid, with McIntyre comfy covering NGW when he goes forward and Holmes and Yiadom shuffling across. Hoilett ok dropping in when necessary to cover RB.

We've looked quite sharp going forward in every game so far. Really loving the attacking tempo.

Ref's dropped a couple of clangers. Blatant foul on Long, then a really obvious handball stopping our break

Loum is an absolute beast

Yes, he knits this midfield together nicely

Easy to spot too with his louminous orange boots.

We're dominating this. Could do with a second while we're on top because Blackburn have certainly got a goal in them with Diaz

I just don’t get why we don’t always play like this. Teams aren’t good enough in this division to play out from the back. Teams have been stopping us from doing it for years.

Yep. High tempo, direct. Play in their half, not ours.

I totally agree - never saw the sense in trying to play from the back - lost count of how many times in the last couple of seasons we've been pressed and conceded a goal after losing the ball.

What is this team? Best I’ve seen us play in ages. Need to score again while we’re on top because we know what will happen if we concede.

Unlucky not to have got a pen from Long's shot. Agree, this is fabulous stuff.

Owners out,

First they breach FFP rules.

Now they've sneaked in the Brazilian national team to represent Reading in this match. It's only a matter of time before we're found out.

Long offers so much to this team. Great hold up and defending from the front.

Brilliant performance. No idea how we aren't 3-0 up in this.

If he stays fit he's going to a huge asset.

Having Ince being a lot closer to him has definitely helped him here. Ref hasn't helped him either.

I've seen enough football in my lifetime to know how this match is going to go.
