First 20 mins passing between the centre backs and the goalie, that first game of the season was the first time I questioned why I still bought a season ticket.

Yup, and surely the prime candidate for our “worse manager ever” especially given his (and our) situation at the time

Tbf we’ve probably have had the top 5 worst ever managers in the last 10 years.

Take your pick

As opposed to 90 minutes of hoofing it to Carroll, football from the dark ages

Terry the Taxi wasn’t in the last 10 years and DEFINITELY counts as worse than anything in that period

He's talking about actual managers, not taxi drivers who have managed to sweet-talk their way into the role.

likewise, so you HAVE seen plenty worse, as well as I

Btw, lighten-up “pal” yes things aren’t great under Ince (obvs) but to suggest he is our “worse ever” ….lol, that’s just a little bit silly.

Yeah fair point. I’d count him in.

Rodgers was terrible. But at least the players could pass.

Technically, I think Clement and Rodgers records are worse, it's certainly very close. Rodgers had a far better team than either, or most of those to fail more recently. But then Rodgers can manage, he just oxf*rd it totally here.

I feel like Clement tried to do the right things and with more time or different circumstances it might have worked.

Anyone can make a sideways or backwards pass. Even the current lot put a few together before they whack it at the head of AC2.

The problem with Rodgers, Stam, and every other manager we have had who have preached possession is that none of their possession went anywhere.

Clubs that play passing well are always looking to get the ball into midfield and control from there. We just knocked it around the CBs for ages.

Both Bullivant and Clement were astoundingly thick.
