Back injury, big doubt for their opener against WBA. He is appealing his two year with one year suspended sentence in the assault case.

WTF! A player lobs a rock at a truck driver's head 4 years ago which leaves the driver unconscious and still suffering its after effects today, yet his club still stands by him after his conviction? Is it only crimes against women and children that matter then (and even then probably only if the public scream their disapproval enough)?

Elliott none existent, as was Femi until the goal.

Mbengue and Kano were very strong.

Wing excellent.

Kelvin flattered to deceive, but can win a game for you.

Camara looked bright.

Wareham put in excellent effort.

Rushesha not a right back, neither is Craig.

Slightly nervous who’ll start the season at RB and LB, otherwise lots of positives.

QPR are going down.

QPR will be fine. Wasn't their strongest team. I think we'll do better than many think as well.

Just want Reading able to compete well, keep away from any mention of relegation fights and put occasional spanners into the works of those expected to do well like Brum, Notlob and Rovrum.

Dykes got injured just before the Euros with an ankle injury. I can't imagine he was fit enough to start, as he'd likely missed part of QPR's pre-season recovering.

Camara looks like he's just a little experience away from some devastating stuff. Seems a better fit on the left wing for Selles style than Ehibhatiomhan who looks better suited to a central role in a more controlled possession style. Not so much a high tempo, front foot hard runner.

Sad to see Senga hobble off. Senga continues to look decent. Holzman on. Think Craig gone to midfield...

Very happy with that.

CBC - caught badly in possession for their goal, but since solid and made some saves.
Craig - wasted at RB but looks good for midfield.
Osho - looking much more comfortable at LB than Garcia did, one to watch.
Mbengue - thunders into challenges like its a cup final
Dean - been good.
Senga - solid and unspectacular, sorry to see him go off,but sensible not to risk anything.
Elliott - picked Rino's pocket for the goal. Been fine.
Knibbs - not had a huge impact but decent, doing a lot of talking to Camara etc.
Azeez - picking up where he left off
Camara - slightly better decision making and he's there. Positive, energetic. Like.
Smith - hustle and bustle and played in Azeez well for the goal

Holzman - slotted into RB ok in his brief first half spell.

We look like we have a very strong midfield with Wing, Savage, Elliott, Craig, Knibbs, Senga et al. And the front line is always a threat.

Find a RB, and put Bindon back in and say it quietly, but we look a threat.
