On a slightly different note

The Royals flew up to the north east on Tuesday afternoon, and it's the first time under Coppell's management the team have flown to a game.

Steve is mindful of the pitfalls that road travel can sometimes bring, using our successive August trips to Aston Villa and Wigan as good examples. "You have to do as much as you can.

"After the Villa game there were roadworks at Spaghetti Junction, then on Friday we were up to Wigan and that's no fun on the M6. Out of 48 hours we had around 11 on a bus; not ideal."

I wonder if they'll have to get the coach back? The players' weren't too chuffed with that arrangement after the Sunderland game a few seasons ago.
