I hope you are being facetious..... But perhaps not.boycey wrote:Racism and coin throwing?? what a load of rubbish .
There is no racism at the madjeski . Never has been . It sounds like the majority of people on here need to get a grip if they think our fans are racist . As for homophobic , who gives a flying one?? I'm sure there aren't any gay people in Y26....
And as someone said earlier , if people are throwing coins then CCTV will surelly have caught them .
Whatever atmosphere our ground has comes from Y26/Y25 . Without them it will be bang bang , blarmy .
Sorry, but you think homophobia is only offensive to Gay people?boycey wrote:Racism and coin throwing?? what a load of rubbish .

Is that the same for racism, only applies to black people? Or those who are non-white?
Let me guess, you sit in Y26 don't ya?!
I'm not saying there is, and for what it's worth the only thing I've ever found offensive at the Madejski is someone continually calling Seol "Ting Tong".boycey wrote:clueless .bobby1413 wrote:Sorry, but you think homophobia is only offensive to Gay people?boycey wrote:Racism and coin throwing?? what a load of rubbish .

there is no racist abuse .
there is no homophobic abuse .
let me guess , you sit at home ?
I would be equally unoffended by such remarks, but I fail to see how being foul-mouthed and making hand gestures at fans of other clubs equates to being more passionate about Reading.Reading Til I Die wrote:
Would you be more offended at hearing someone shout "W**KER", or watching a game on TV and seeing Rooney and countless other players call the ref a "f***in', cheatin', c**t!"?
If you don't want to sit in Y26 then don't buy tickets for Y26 or get the club to move your season ticket. We're not exactly selling out every week so it shouldn't be a problem. There's a Family Enclosure or the North Stand if you don't want to mix with the more passionate supporters.
This is why I have a season ticket in Y26Reading Til I Die wrote:I'm not a season ticket holder, however over the years my 14 year old son and I have never had a problem getting tickets to any game due to the number of "Royalty Points" we've accumilated.
We love sitting in Y26 due to the atmosphere not to mention that you get a crackin' view from the higher seats.
Anyway, last week we had to get tickets for Y19 and my son HATED it. No atmosphere, sat in front of a bunch of 40-something's who did nothing but slag off Stephen Hunt and make "witty" remarks about all the other players! My son and I ended laughing AT them and not WITH them as they really were like Harry Enfield characters!
Football is supposed be be about supporting your club and the team, but this decision will just make the Reading FC matchday experience even quieter and could end up hurting the club's fan base.
I'll be oxf*rd annoyed if they do, seeing as I had to buy tickets practically next to the drummer for the next four games.T.R.O.L.I. wrote:Will the club put their "principles" before the opportunity to earn ssome extra ticket revenue?
True, a lot of people near around where I sit use bad language and gestures.bcubed wrote:This is why I have a season ticket in Y26Reading Til I Die wrote:I'm not a season ticket holder, however over the years my 14 year old son and I have never had a problem getting tickets to any game due to the number of "Royalty Points" we've accumilated.

If things remain the same I will not renew next year - I didn't buy a season ticket to sit among empty seats and experience a cr*p atmosphere
And in any case the bad language and gestures seem to come from Y25 as much as Y26
