Winston Biscuit Mbappe is only ever off to RM. Its either now for a cut price, but still hefty, amount of money, or in the summer for free.
if he leaves then he gives up his final loyalty payment, so I would imagine leaving on a free and demanding a big signing on fee at RM would suit him in that regard

Just a real shame. Love to see a player like that come to the PL instead doing the same weary expected trail to RM

Different type of player, yes, but still a world class young talent who came to England and didn't go to Madrid, despite interest.

Give it 3 or 4 years, when he is in his prime.

And/or when Man City drop off, which might be in that timeframe anyway if Pep leaves.

This. Same path as Mbappe, who will be 25 when he joins Real. Maybe a year younger.

United shat the bed when Fergie left as it was all structured around him
City have everything in place for a manager to succeed.
Who d'ya reckon succeeds Pep?

I just think it will be extremely difficult to maintain that level of success, the next manager they get is very likely to be worse than Pep, very few names about in his category. Not suggesting they will be as bad as Man United, but they might end up battling it out for the top four and just not winning as much as they do now.
