Scottish non-league has had a revamp. The Lowland League has split into two divisions, the Lowland League East and the Lowland League West. Both divisions will contain 16 “competing” clubs with an option for a guest club (i.e. Celtic, Rangers reserves etc.):

Promotion/relegation to/from the SPFL remains the same, subject to the clubs involved having the correct licensing. The promotion candidate club from this fifth tier will now be decided via a play-off between the Highland League and Lowland League West and East winners. Each club will play the other champion clubs once over the space of one week with home advantage being decided by the drawing of lots. The winner then proceeds to play the bottom SPFL club in two legged play off to determine who goes where for the following season.

The South of Scotland and West of Scotland Premier Divisions would earn promotion to the West section of the Lowland league subject to the correct licensing being in place, with East of Scotland League and Midlands Football League winners going up to the Eastern section. The North Caledonian League and the North of Scotland Football League will feed to the Highland League.
