Burnley need to win 11 and draw 1 of their last 13 to beat it.

They pick up too many draws do Burnley, I reckon that will cripple them. Can easily see them drawing 3 and losing 1/2 in their remaining games. It will be a close run thing though, they will probably end up around 100-104 I reckon.

Yeah all those draws really are crippling them. If by crippling you mean being 12 points ahead of the team in 2nd place.

I hope they do get the record tbh, might mean our supporters stop banging on about it.

No, by crippling I meant for the record, seen as that's the thread. I couldn't care less whether they win the league or not.

They've only drawn 9. We drew 13. Their current proportion of draws to games played would see them finish on 13 as well, if they maintain their form to the end.

They've drawn 10 after last night's result at Millwall. If they do maintain their form to end it'll mean they won't equal/break the record, which is pleasing.

Of those 4 clubs, only Fulham are doing well in the higher Division from last season.

Don’t agree with that at all. It’s something all teams would like to call it’s own and it also comes with the “greatest ever championship team” something that we can claim to have.

With the "greatest" tag again, whilst having the record does show that, it isn't really something that sticks outside our fan base and recency biasis means the achievement is lessened by others.

Records are there to be broken and if Burnley do it fair play to them, i won`t lose any sleep over it, even though their max should be 109 after the robbery of turf moor.
