The club should be caring because there is the chance the club can get some much needed cash in to help pay wages when the Olise money runs out. Not to mention the supporters who don’t want to be on the end of what would be the most embarrassing FA Cup defeat in the club’s history.

Presume the club are also getting some TV money for agreeing to shift the tie.

With all due respect, we have a lot of games in this period to negotiate and we shouldn't need our strongest side to overcome a Tier 7 side. We shouldn't under-estimate them to avoid an embarrassment but I think all we realistically have to do is have a few players in the team that can match their physicality, saw somewhere that they have a team of giants.

Ok , so play the weakened team at home to Cambridge.
Money is very important to the club therefore a win in this round of the cup gives us a chance of further progress and more money in the 3rd round and with a favourable draw we might even get another pay day (and great interest for long-suffering fans) in the 4th round.

Start with what appears to be the strongest 11 in the cup game-if all goes well bring off the top players.
Then on the Tuesday do it in reverse if things aren't going too well v Cambridge.
Incidentally , from the point of view of exertion through travel, we have 3 more or less home games in a week ,starting with the cup game, then Cambridge and then Wycombe but a short journey away.

These are exceptional times when money matters more than ever.

Good, nice to know the FA Cup and opponents are being taken seriously.

It's pragmatism. Our Under 21 team regularly win the Berks & Bucks cup, the opposition we are playing in the cup are of the same standard of the teams we play in that competition. .

As a club we've won it three times in the last 30 years albeit two of those wins have come in the past three years. Depends on definition of 'regularly' I guess but I wouldn't be tempted to underestimate what Harborough might be able to do on the day.

Given we're talking about now, 2 in 3 is pretty regular. Even 2 in 5 would be.

Disappointing they've not changed the pricing. Obviously they think they'll make more money with £15 tickets compared to £10 ones.

Seems a fairly safe assumption.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sell 3,000.

The club would have a decision as to whether to start offering them the other half of the South Stand or parts of the West Stand should they want more beyond that. I've noticed there are doors in the Lower West concourse which allows that to be segregated - so we could offer them half of the Lower West for example.

I'm not sure if it's a percentage of the overall ground capacity we must make available to listing supporters, or just the capacity "available" for sale on the day.

But who cares, they can have the South and the Dolan as far as I'm concerned. Unlikely to affect the result and more cash for both clubs.

They're entitled to 15% (subject to police approval) - which is roughly 3,600 tickets. So that's only 600 more than I expect we've given them - the normal league allocation. I'd imagine half of the Lower West would get them beyond 3,600 total.

The whole South Stand is about 4,500 tickets for reference. I think it will come down to how many Harborough think they'll sell.
