Pretty meaningless though when it comes to their “big day”, they’ll possibly bring 10 times that average.
Just like any club below the second tier then, including Reading. Any one know the season home league average for when we took 45,000?, wasn't it, to Wembley to win the Simod Cup?
6,945 - so the 45,000ish we took to Wembley was about 6.5 times our average and that's keeping in mind we wanted tickets beyond what we got for that game.
Biggest
league attendance that season was 10274 v Boringmuff, 2 more for that than the visit of Manchester City! Lowest
league attendance was 4755 v Blackburn. Biggest home attendance was 15348 for the semi final v Coventry.
Memorable season that, not just for the Simod but for picking up well after Xmas and seeing the excellent David Madden (and not quite so excellent) David Cowling.
