12 points off relegation. If we can have a good December - 5 remaining league games this year. If we can get 10 points from them. That should be a good enough first half of the season to keep us up. A safety net if we lose players and get 10 point deduction because of administration. Or point deductions because of unpaid tax bills/wages.

Actually starting to look forward to games once a match day arrives for the first time in years. Really hope we can get the sale resolved and get a new owner in and the embargo lifted as I feel like we're only a few solid players away from being a real candidate for the playoffs. I fear a few injuries and fatigue after Christmas will affect us, let alone the possibility of a fire sale of players or points deductions.

Really thought Elliott was fantastic tonight. My MOTM. So much ran through him and he is quick too. He and Wing just controlled the centre and Cambridge were totally outplayed. But all the team were excellent tonight.

The one thing that scares me is if we hit a point that Dai might think "Hold on a minute" this team has a crack at promotion here and instead of the club being valued at "this amount" in the Chumpionship its now worth a lot more......hence more staling tactics with the sale. Wing's 2nd was a type of screamer we've seen a few times. Against Carlisle, Fleetwood and now Cambridge we've seen the one where he hits it first time with his instep and it curls into the near post. Clearly a technique he has nailed.

Sadly this. I still think this season will all end in tears. Not relegation, we'll have too many points by January. But key players sold or leaving when contracts expires, Selles gone and a relegation battle to look forward to in 25/26.

Sadly this. I still think this season will all end in tears. Not relegation, we'll have too many points by January. But key players sold or leaving when contracts expires, Selles gone and a relegation battle to look forward to in 25/26.

There will sadly be a lot of this. People have been burnt too many times over the last few years and whilst watching this team is a lot of fun, there will be an overarching view amongst many that until Dai is gone, this is all just a sticky plaster over a gaping wound. As is even being mentioned on this thread, as we move into the top 6 after 17 games and on track for a 80+ point season, people are still looking at the gap to the bottom 4 - firesales in Jan etc.

Money is tight for a lot of people and its Xmas, so why would you "waste money" going to watch the club at this point. If come Feb, we haven't really lost anyone, and are still sitting pretty in or around the top 6, you may well start to see some people come back and absolutely definitely if and when a sale concludes.
