I mean, we've created two genuine goals, they've scored two pathetic deflections. Wing and Marriott have both had shots well saved.Hound wrote:Well it’s difficult to argue we deserve the win tbh
We create so little
Well quiteSnowflake Royal wrote:I mean, we've created two genuine goals, they've scored two pathetic deflections. Wing and Marriott have both had shots well saved.Hound wrote:Well it’s difficult to argue we deserve the win tbh

It's not like they've created much. 2 shots on target and one of their goals was an off target shot that ricocheted in.
Deflections happen - both our goals on Saturday were either a deflected cross or loose ball which just landed at our forwards feet. Not having it as bad luckSnowflake Royal wrote:I mean, we've created two genuine goals, they've scored two pathetic deflections. What like in the previous games when we took 1 point from 2?Sutekh wrote:Another sodding point! Really not good enough, don’t know whether to blame the miserable weather or the management for not sticking to something tried and tested previously.
How was the first Exeter goal a lucky deflection anyway? Plus some decent moves not finished off, like Kelvin not putting in the effort just now
I think that's a bit harshAscotexgunner wrote:What would be nice is if we try to teach defenders to block shots properly...
Not exactly. The ball just appeared to hit Sweeney’s lower shin and fly off into the net, don’t recall seeing his leg move toward the ball at all. So it’s 3 of the last 4 goals conceded have been deflected. There has to be a point where this sort of cr@p luck ceases.Hound wrote:How was the first Exeter goal a lucky deflection anyway? He turned his leg to send it towards goal. Can’t count that as a lucky goal, come on.Sutekh wrote:Not exactly.
