When I first mentioned the wage I did not put a currency, the 2nd is due to the source being a US website. The last I know for sure was the figure paid in GBP.

To put Chelsea slamming on the backburner for a second, I think it’s interesting that Chelsea managers appointed to keep things ticking over until the next big shoe walks through the door seem to have greater success; Grant, Hiddink and now Di Mateo.

Nobody can deny Chelsea have a squad of great players, but maybe their ego’s are compatible with ethos – maybe they just need to be allowed to play rather than told.

Just an observation.
