What's happened to Harvey Collins? He went with the team to Exeter earlier in the season and was in the Unders squad. Assume injured...?Stranded wrote:10 days until the next game so hopefully one will be fit else Norcott will be on the bench.
Not sure, as far as last night is concerned, may just not have been at the game and Norcott was so got asked to jump in.morganb wrote:What's happened to Harvey Collins? They always have 3 keepers actively warming up presumably to cover the exact situation which happened last evening.Stranded wrote:Not sure, as far as last night is concerned, may just not have been at the game and Norcott was so got asked to jump in.morganb wrote:What's happened to Harvey Collins? Typical Reading, not giving themselves an insurance policy against that happening. Strangely Andresson could have covered if Carlisle had agreed to release him for the evening. Presuming CBC will be back for Charlton but if not and Pereira is seriously crocked (and it didn't look too bright from the picture Tim was painting) then Collins or Norcot are going to get a quick bit of first team experience.Snowflake Royal wrote:It's quite funny that Pereira got injured about a day before the exact scenario we signed him for happened.
No. Southwood is a permanent Cheltenham player not a Reading player on loan at Cheltenham.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Can we recall Southwood if both GK's out for a while?
In better news Selles confirmed after the game that both Smith and Camara could be back next weekend
We released Southwood at the end of last season, so he's a permanent Cheltenham player now.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Can we recall Southwood if both GK's out for a while?
Probably not with our first choice keeper available. If Button drops too, then I should expect so.blythspartan wrote:Despite our financial and ownership problems could we bring in a keeper on an emergency loan basis, if required?
I think you're right. IIRC, you can only get an emergency loan keeper if you don't have any professional keepers available.Snowflake Royal wrote:Probably not with our first choice keeper available. So must I, as I thought his last reported injury was concussion.Hound wrote:Excellent news on Smith, Camara as well. Forget about him a bit but he did a v good job early season
Not good on CBC
What has McIntyre done to himself? Must have missed that

It was his turn on the Reading FC random injury in training generator.
⁃ Smith “should be ready to play a part” v #CAFC
⁃ Camara/Hutch training with team, Pereira could be ready for Sat
⁃ CBC out 6-8 weeks
⁃ TMc muscle injury in training, 4-6 weeks
⁃ Mbengue “doing well but not ready”
⁃ Holmes in partial training #readingfc
Ovie fit then?morganb wrote:INJURY UPDATE from https://twitter.com/JmlJourno/status/17 ... 3753539654 mentions a couple of others:
