I have no problems with Lane. Kyerewaa is 80% of the way towards being a good League 1 / Championship player.

We`ve not scored more than 2 goals in any league game this season and 2 in only 3. we`ve won 1 of them, how about that as an analysis?

Frustrating performance, we did some good things but our final ball was generally terrible and we desperately missed the energy and nous of Marriott as the focal point up front. Big Kelvin is just not a central striker and is only ever effective cutting in from out wide.

On the fence with Hunt now, I really want him to do well here but the position in the table doesn’t lie sadly. Would not blame the owners for making a change at this point.

Tell me where we are improving. Tactically how is Hunt changing the way we play? Which individuals during his tenure has Hunt improved?

Agree with this.

Would say there were a number of balls into the box which people couldn't get on the end of. Paddy Lane has looked more dangerous in the previous couple of matches. Kyerewaa looks like he has all the elements to be a good player, just lacks the execution at the moment.

Great to see Doyle get a goal, even if the keeper probably should've done better with it.

Thought Jacob did well going forward; Abrefa looked good today before being subbed. Williams was impressive.

It's what happens in the attacking penalty area where our biggest problems lie.

I don't know why we took so long to make the O'Mahony sub though - he was ready to come on before Dorsett. Biggest concern is the O'Connor injury; hopefully he'll be back for Stevenage.

We changed formations a few games ago (Mansfield?) from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1.

Keeping in mind most players are at, or past, their peak of those who have played regularly this season: Abrefa seems to have improved during the last few games certainly; Lane has looked better since the formation shift.

Most people seem to be in agreement we lack a natural goalscorer outwith Marriott. What's the manager supposed to do when he's injured (or otherwise unavailable) if there isn't anyone to replace him adequately?

I refer you back to the games against Exeter and Northampton. If you don't think from Cardiff onwards there has been a considerable improvement I can't help you.

We can’t just be relying on Marriott to score goals for any number of reasons - but the main one is we’re stuffed if he gets injured for any period of time

Adapt style of play and tactics to bring other players into goalscoring positions?

He was stood there waiting to come on for something lake 5 minutes, the ball went out of play about 4 times, and he came on in the first minute of time added on.
Not saying he would have made a difference but for christ sakes give him a chance.

Shoulda won, coulda lost, overall BORED.

I think there’s half a promotion challenging team in there - Pereira, Yiadom, O Connor, Williams, Wing, Savage possibly, but we need someone upfront who can hold the ball up and score goals (not cheap). As well as keeping the above mentioned fit.

What’s our situation re Jan window and embargoes etc? Can we sign a Jason Roberts and transform the season? It will be a struggle to keep the interest going if not. Reckon the actual crowd today was about 9000.

Hunt is Mr Draws

We drew too many at the end of last season which meant we didn't reach the Play-Offs

We've drawn too many this season too. Sometimes going ahead then conceding, sometimes coming from behind to salvage a draw.

The situation we're in we need to somehow be converting these draws into wins but we seem to be incapable for one reason or another
