Bikey and De La Cruz do provide us with good cover, and theyre not bad signings. We were down to 18 players midweek with Kitson, Brown and Little out injured, thankfully its now up to 20, and Little is almost fit isnt he?

Though if De La Cruz starts ahead of Murty I'd be disappointed

I totally agree - we did have some bad luck against Villa - I think we might have got something if we'd had 11 men for a start.

I totally agree - we did have some bad luck against Villa - I think we might have got something if we'd had 11 men for a start.

Agreed I'm pretty sure we'd have got at least a draw, but the penalty was the turning point. Don't know why but I knew that Wigan was going to be difficult, just didnt realise we'd be playing like this. We don't even look like scoring.

can't rely on that though can we. This is one of the games that we should have been looking to win and gain a few points - if we don't get anything against Man City in a couple of weeks we've got a bloddy awful run of games to contend with.

I was kidding, hence the wink. I made that point earlier as I can really see us going 7 games without a single point. A draw and 2 wins from the next 3 (including today) is what I was hoping for so we could go into that run with at least 10 points under our belt and give us a chance when its done. The bad luck with the fixture list is really going to harm us I think, our confidence may be shot beyond repair come mid-November.

The one bright spot is I think we can give most teams a good game at home, as I'm convinced we'll score goals at home. Well less sure now, but the last 2 matches we've looked good going forward.
