and if you read my message above you'll see i said he's not interested in 'northern' clubs which by my reckoning certainly includes Sunderland, Bolton and Rangers!!

Rangers are a Southern club surely? Or Midlands at least.

And is Glasgow in Northern Scotland then? I would say it is either Southern or Mid Scotland. HTH.

thanks - if you check the teams for pompey you'll see he hasn't gone to ipswich which as a regular bench warmer at the moment would be strange!

slinky

why are you sure its "on for definate" ?

is that because he was left out of their squad today, or do you know something more ?

you have been pretty confident of this one happening for a while now, haven't you?

i for one would be happy if we did sign him

Given that they've "accepted two bids for him" I don't think it strange that he's not been cup-tied.

How is he looking forward to playing in our reserves?

No seriously, what position is he expecting to fill?

left back will be free soon and that's his favoured position although i'd give him a try in the centre

Sounds more likely considering that Shorey didn't play today either.

That's always been part of the deal. Taylor in if Shorey goes.

Not convinced that's the truth but after hearing through another 'source' which you also know Dang, Shorey is on his way although this source is seriously 3rd party compared to the Taylor info.
