I see the Chelsea supporters are living down to expectation by booing the innocent and offended party (Anton Ferdinand). They really are a thick bunch.

Reading fans booed Petr Cech after S Hunt nearly took of his head with his knee. It's a shame, but people are the same, everywhere.

Football fans in general are the worst kind of pseudo-moralists going, with the perpetual booing of players who have been wronged. However, the next time Hunt and Cech met on a football pitch the following August, they embraced each other at the end of the game, so it was all done for them at that point - almost five years ago now. It only matters between those two - the opinions of the fans have nothing of importance. Continuing to boo players/managers years/decades after some isolated incident is worthy only of long looks down the nose and tired head-shaking.

It's looking more and more likely that Chelsea will have to win the Champions League to qualify for next seasons tournament.
