Based on his recent run out for us it would be Lita I’d be looking to pair with Long.karbota wrote:Looks very likely that Shane Long will be coming home, if only we could tempt Jamie Cureton away from Enfield what a formidable combination that would be.

Yeah saw thatStranded wrote:Bayern, perhaps unsurprisingly, looking to cash in on Omar Richards. Looks like he could be heading to Forest for about 10m.
It's essentially part of their business plan - find the cream of free agents and sign a few who could make it but are more likely to be around the squad and happy on the bench. Some will become stars, others will simply become more marketable as they've been at Bayern for a year. Clever business plan and helps inflate the transfer budget to buy the those who will definitely improve the first team.Hound wrote:Yeah saw thatStranded wrote:Bayern, perhaps unsurprisingly, looking to cash in on Omar Richards. Bit frustrating that all round - Bayern basically just picked him up knowing they could always resell.
Was never really up to Bayern levels
Decent business plan actually. Entice a relatively decent out of contract young english player, give him a few games, put the word out and that adds £10m onto a re-sale fee which English clubs will think its a bargain as he played for Bayern.Stranded wrote:It's essentially part of their business plan - find the cream of free agents and sign a few who could make it but are more likely to be around the squad and happy on the bench.
