It's the beauty of football guys, thing is I'm sure in 12 months time we will be outstanded by certain games/results.

Very rarely do things pan out quite so thought. Look at how Liverpool have struggled this year, I bet there weren't many QPR fans thinking, "I think we'll get 3 points at home to Liverpool and Arsenal".

I wouldn't think we'll get 6 points from Wigan any more than Spurs, Stoke or Chelsea.

Granted maybe rule out the Manchester clubs but other than that I'd take a punt on anyone as much as the next team.

I think all 3 promoted sides will stay up anyway, if this coming season is as weird for producing results as 11/12 was we could be in for one hell of a season!

I think Stoke is a good first game for us. In my eyes, very similar to Middlesbrough in 2006, it is a range finder. When we went 2-0 down I remember thinking "F**k me. Stuart Downing is a wizard." and thinking we were in trouble. We turned it around magnificently and had a great season, but it served as a massive wake-up call/lesson that even against lesser Premier League teams, you have to turn up, or you will get mangled.
