More seasoned pros have flattered to deceive all season but Obita in his first full season at this level has looked comfortable and unphased despite being played mostly out of position.

Ditto most of the creditable points above but I suppose it's a toss up between McCarthy and Obita for me.

Whilst McCarthy has errored often he has also made countless first class saves to keep us in games.

Obita has shone for a kid out of position in his first full season.

The rest have either been totally inconsistent or mostly gash.

Still remember our demographic as a family club and don't under estimate the vote of the kids that will see Alfie come through with their vote.

Jordan Obita, breakthrough season, looks comfortable on the ball, great skill + delivery, wherever he has played, left back, left midfield and in the middle of the park vs Derby looked assured, cant wait for Bridge to get back for him and Obita down the left. Needs a better song aswell

I voted Pog, Obita & Gunter. I think Obita comes 3rd for me on the basis I'm trying to be fair & judge the whole season. Pog has been a warrior for us & worked tirelessly even if the goal stats don't show it.

Wouldn't mind seeing Gunter get it though - he is my 1st choice at the mo...just

Well the fans had Guthrie as PotS early on with the Pog then coming into the frame mid season. Both have since dropped out of the running with neither deserving the PotS award.

Gunter and McCarthy have been there all season so for me it will be between these two.

Obita will likely to win it for the same reasons that Chris Armstrong did ... putting in a string of solid performances while the rest have only been good in patches.

Personally I've gone for Pog, G-Mac and McCarthy, as they've all been the outstanding players during particular stages of the season, McCarthy the early months, Pog being the only player to look remotely up for it over the winter and G-Mac for inspiring that run in January/Feb.

Got nothing against Obita, I just don't look at his performances as the reason we've won games X, Y and Z or didn't lose A, B or C.
