Apparantly Chelsea have insisted he isn’t allowed to play, neither can John Swift. Moore isn’t allowed to play either because he played for a team that once beat Chelsea and both Meite and Barrow have been excluded, one because ‘he’s a bit big’, the other because ‘he’s a bit fast’.
Other than that we’ll be at full strength.

It is an incredible coup to get Miazga back, he is far superior to us in every way and I can only think the warm response he got whilst he was here last season has made him push to come back here.

Who says Gomes isn't going to go 3 at the back this season? I wouldn't be against that to be honest. McIntyre and Blackett as back up CB's.

Gomes cannot rely on people staying fit all season. All it means is an academy lad would be loaned out for 1st team football elsewhere.

Me. I actually like 3 at the back as a system, but I look at our players and it just doesn't work IMO.

The three CBs bit is fine. But IMO it requires two solid midfielders, we have one. Although that's the same as 4-5-1.

It means wing backs - that's great, but then no wide forwards which deprives us of Meite and Barrow's best positions, our two best attackers.

Plus you need a good striker pair... bit better here I guess with Meite & Baldock / Nova & Loader for example, but not ideal.
