I'm glad you've recovered from your touch of the Dellors earlierOrion1871 wrote:Guess we've found Sengas stalkerHendo wrote:Senga has posted a picture on his Insta which confirms it is him.Snowflake Royal wrote: The guy standing with his back to us on the left in the group of 3 talking to Hunt with Fornah facing the camera at 2 mins is 100% categorically NOT Ejaria. Tbh, I'm a bit surprised anyone thought it was Ejaria. Hair's only vaguely similar, build different, posture different.Orion1871 wrote:Guess we've found Sengas stalkerHendo wrote:Senga has posted a picture on his Insta which confirms it is him.Snowflake Royal wrote: The guy standing with his back to us on the left in the group of 3 talking to Hunt with Fornah facing the camera at 2 mins is 100% categorically NOT Ejaria. May be a similar line up but just a few tweaks could make a massive difference.South Coast Royal wrote:The players won't have trained on Tuesday so Hunt & Co will only have 3 days with the players ahead of this game.
Despite his work and familiarity with the U21s I don't expect many changes for Saturday's game.
We just have to hope that the players are really up for the fight ,and at least more so than they were on Monday., with a new voice to listen to and a realisation that relegation is a distinct possibility if they don't put everything into this and the remaining games.
Maybe it's just me, but I seriously don't care if we lose the record, it will always remain a fantastic season and if Burnley beat it, it will have been beaten by an excellent side, who needed to be financially stronger that all other sides to do it. We've held the record longer than pretty much any one else.JR wrote:Surprised nobody has yet mentioned the 106 significance of this game.
Not only would a shock win be massive for our survival hopes, but it would also secure our 106 record for another season! Even a draw would mean they could only tie.
Oh to be singing ‘we’ve got our 106!’
I'd keep the record and get relegated.Stranded wrote:Maybe it's just me, but I seriously don't care if we lose the record, it will always remain a fantastic season and if Burnley beat it, it will have been beaten by an excellent side, who needed to be financially stronger that all other sides to do it. Saturday is just a big game for us - new manager, big crowd, we need a win - retaining the points record would be a bonus but if someone said to me, Burnley will take the record but we will stay up, I'd take that every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Is the Duane Dibley look in now then?Snowflake Royal wrote:Tbh, I'm a bit surprised anyone thought it was Ejaria. Hair's only vaguely similar, build different, posture different.Orion1871 wrote:Guess we've found Sengas stalkerHendo wrote:

Don't give a **** about a record when it comes down to that or staying up. Even if Bumley do get it then Reading still hold the record morally as they did it without parachute payments and a perceived PL standard squad.YorkshireRoyal99 wrote:I like our record, it does give us some relevance in respect to other clubs, but would I be that disappointed to lose it? Probably not and I'd rather survive other than keep our record.
Records will always get broken, I doubt Sunderland thought their 105pts would be broken just 7 years later. The fact that we have had the record for 17 years is fantastic and something that won't fade from relevance - although it is still forgotten by a lot of people, lose track of the number of "who is the best Championship team ever?" that ignores/forgets the 05/06 team.Snowflake Royal wrote:I'd keep the record and get relegated.Stranded wrote:Maybe it's just me, but I seriously don't care if we lose the record, it will always remain a fantastic season and if Burnley beat it, it will have been beaten by an excellent side, who needed to be financially stronger that all other sides to do it. The record is for every season. Relegations soon fade from relevance.
