I think the Wigan game is everything for an observer because we really don't know hoe good Hunt is at managing, we've seen three games, against a weakened Burnley team, against Luton and we lost to Coventry, now we're playing rubbish teams. Has he brought this team up to the level to beat rubbish teams or not?

Oh hell yes pretty much accepted our fate once we failed to beat Brum - from reading the comments from Bowen last night, get the feeling that they are working to that being the likely outcome as well - would be a fantastic last week of the season if we do it but feeling Ok about the prospect and, perhaps naively, the info coming out last night makes me feel that in the long run, it might actually be good for the club.

I've gone for no just because I've still got a little bit of hope left, especially because of who we are playing. If we can win on Saturday then that will give me more confidence that we can do it, if we don't beat Wigan then it's a lot harder to see us beating Hudddersfield.

They do - if Cardiff win tonight then their next two opponents are Cardiff (safe), and Sheffield United (promoted and can't win the title) - suddenly two tricky games could almost become gimmes.

If Rotherham lose tonight and lose to Boro then as long as we get a point on Saturday they would be passable on the final day. If we win, in that situation then we would start the day on the same points but likely worse GD as they are 9 goals better than us at the mo.

I don't think Huddersfield will win both games, maybe one at best. Even if Cardiff win tonight, they'd still need a point to guarantee safety (assuming we beat Wigan) and Sheffield United are miles better than Huddersfield. Just because they have nothing to play for doesn't make them gimmies, otherwise we'd have beaten Birmingham, Hull and Bristol City.

Best scenario is Cardiff drawing their next 2 and leaving plenty of teams in it come the final game potentially, or if not then Cardiff win both games and it keeps both Huddersfield and Rotherham as close as possible to ourselves.

It doesn't mean they will lose, they are still professionals that will want to win every game and they are a far better side than Huddersfield. Obviously it does give a greater incentive to Huddersfield, but it's far from a given that they will beat them just because Sheff United's season is over.

A most depressing topic and the realisation that with 2 games to go it might not even be in our own hands any more, although the probability is that if we win both games we will survive.
Other than having blind faith it is difficult to see that outcome.

It just feels that Huddersfield will do for us just as they did in that play-off game which wasn't really that long ago.
Who would have thought that the two same sides would be battling it out at the other end of the table against relegation when promotion was on the agenda just a matter of 6 years ago.

It's with great reluctance that I join the Yes voters based more on the many disappointments over the years that exceed the celebrations when it comes to big games for our club.

I'm not really feeling anything about relegation tbh. The last few years with this embargo and poor handling of the penalties by the EFL have just drained me, coupled with bad owner after bad owner. As long as there's no embargo next season and we can start over and enjoy watching a new side form, and kids get a chance, I don't care what level we'll be playing at. I just want to enjoy watching the football again, and I haven't done for years now.
